A purpose-built student accommodation development delivered on behalf of Alara Investments, demonstrating the importance of strategic oversight through planning, procurement and delivery.

Temple Reach comprises a purpose-built student accommodation scheme in central Bristol, brought forward through a joint venture structure and targeting delivery for the 2029 academic intake. The project was acquired for Alara Investments and has progressed through planning, Building Safety Act Gateway 2 approval and contractor procurement.

Acting in a development management capacity, the role involved coordinating the project through key stages of the development lifecycle, including planning strategy, stakeholder management, procurement, funding and delivery planning. Particular focus was placed on programme certainty, regulatory compliance and risk management within a complex and evolving delivery environment.

The project demonstrates how early-stage decisions relating to planning, procurement and project structuring influence delivery outcomes, programme certainty and long-term value creation.
