New London and Bristol-based development consultancy launches

WeShape, a specialist development consultancy, has launched. An autonomous subsidiary of Cubex, the developer and operating partner of the £2.6bn AUM real estate investment manager Fiera Real Estate, WeShape will provide development and project management, development monitoring and fund monitoring services to lenders, investors and developers across the UK.

Launched in response to growing demand for independent advice through increasingly complex development projects, WeShape will be led by Will Tomlinson, Development Director at Cubex. Founded in 2004, Cubex has delivered more than 2.5m sq ft of residential and commercial space across the South West of England on behalf of institutional investors, exceeding c. £1bn in Gross Development Value. Its track record includes major regeneration schemes at Bristol's Finzels Reach and Temple Quarter, alongside other urban residential, commercial and logistics developments.

Tomlinson brings over 20 years’ experience in contracting, consultancy and development, having held roles at BAM Construct UK, DT Fabric Structures and global QS and construction consultancy Rider Levett Bucknall before joining Cubex.

WeShape will support clients across the full development lifecycle, from acquisition and feasibility through to planning, procurement, construction, stabilisation and exit. The firm’s development management offering will provide independent oversight of programme, cost and risk. Its project management services focus on coordinating consultant teams, stakeholders and delivery programmes, while development and fund monitoring provides investors with ongoing independent assessment of project strategy, performance, delivery risk and alignment with investment objectives.
